Quality has top priority at Varioprint

The continuous improvement process begins with the first customer contact and is actively maintained even after the product has been delivered. Process-oriented organisational structures, an extensive suggestion scheme, attractive bonus systems and well-trained, competent employees form the basis of our quality philosophy.

Our high-quality "Made in Switzerland" products are not only used in the sensitive areas of medical technology and aerospace, but have also established themselves in complex industrial applications.

Varioprint had its quality management system certified for the first time back in 1987, striking a pioneering note in the industrial sector. In the years and decades that followed, the system was continuously enhanced to meet current requirements.

Varioprint also has an extensive portfolio in the area of UL approvals, which is being gradually expanded.

Over 55 years of innovation and precision

1970 - 1971

Foundation of Varioprint AG in Heiden and production of the first single-sided printed circuit boards.

1972

Graphic printing machine SVECIA-MATIC. Foils for various applications were printed in large quantities on this machine.

1974

Opening of the photo lab department and silk-screen printing of conductive pattern.

1979

Move to the new building with 3700m2 of production space at the current location on Mittelbissaustrasse.

1988

By the end of the 1980s, the company was already using 5 screen printing machines for PCB production.

1993

Management buyout: Takeover of the company by the former management with 85 employees.

1995

A horizontal through-hole plating system is successfully put into operation.

2003

In summertime, the mechanical processes move to the new premises in Plant 2.

2004-2008

Various investments were made for a successful future. For example, an ATG finger tester, Ni/Au line, LPKF laser system and state-of-the-art AOI systems.
